Dark cherry colour with slight ruby tones, shows an aroma of great intensity, with expression of jams and fruits of the forest, and pleasant roasted notes from the oak ageing. Silky and elegant, with a very long finish, as befits a wine of great lineage.

Origin:
Can Fontanals, Les Timbes. A relatively small vineyard planted in 1999 with exceptional characteristics for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. The soils are draining, not very fertile, with a clay loam texture, rough and dry soils that welcome the vines willing to suffer. The result is grapes that produce a wine with body, character, structure and concentration.
Harvest:
We came from one of the poorest harvests of the last decades, from a year (2020) of much rain, as of December there was a radical change in terms of rainfalls, disappearing the rain completely. To the beginning of the harvest only 163 liters of rain. This drought and the moderate temperatures of spring favored an easy and relaxed agricultural year, the flowering of the different varieties was perfect. The harvest started normally, and we were surprised, we expected less quantity and more graduation due to the low rainfall, a year of sugar concentration and lower yield was expected, it was not like that. In summary, a very balanced harvest.
