Pale pink in colour. Very aromatic on the nose, with elegant aromas of ripe fruit, complemented by notes of pear and peach. A flavoursome, fresh and fleshy wine, with a full-bodied finish.

Origin:
La Fassina. Unique to Caves Avinyó, set on the border of Avinyonet del Penedès, enjoying fertile soils, deep and well-drained, with a silty clay loam texture, and thanks to the privileged location it benefits from a higher rainfall regime than our other vineyards. The plot is settled in a low-lying area, protected from the easterly Levant winds, making it the perfect location to grow the Pinot Noir.
Harvest:
The agricultural year began with rainfall above the average of the last decade (250 mm), a stark contrast to the past three years, which filled us with hope.During spring, the rains continued at the right times and respected the more delicate periods. Agriculturally, it has been a relatively calm year, with an absence of pests and diseases, and therefore requiring few treatments.June and July, two relatively cool months, favored the growth and natural development of the vines.In August, ten days of extreme heat caused accelerated ripening in some varieties, forcing us to harvest in haste.In summary, it has been a “textbook” harvest: climatically, everything went as it should. Despite the rush during the harvest, we can qualify its quality as Excellent! It will be a vintage to remember, expressing the very best of our terroir and allowing us to look to the future with renewed enthusiasm.
